After being part of the party scene for 8 years and gaining a respectable amount of knowledge from some of Scotland's finest Radio Presenters from Radio Clyde and Real Radio, Jamie earned an HNC in Creative Industries at Cumbernauld College. After hearing the college where planning their own radio station, Jamie used his background in music and his ambitious work ethic to help launch Radio Active Scotland when it first hit the airwaves in August 2009.

As one of the longest volunteer radio presenters on their roster, with over 2 years experience (and still there, hanging by a leaf) with his outrageous style and comedy stories, Jamie and his co-presenter Slim Jim aim to take over the world... Well, maybe.

In April 2011 he arrived at Sunny Govan and attended our Radio Presenter Course to hone his techniques and managed to get on our roster as a volunteer Radio Presenter, as well as pitching in with the other work we do in the community.

Jay plays a mish-mash of music from Pop, Rock, R&B and Top 40 from around the world on his Friday Lunchtime show. He also has the 'DOUBLE SHOT' feature from one artist or band and this is where YOU the listener can decide what he plays from the totally wacky to downright stir crazy! You can take his Quiz 'GUESS WHO?' and find out which celebrity he is talking about from the clues given, no big prizes just the sense of achievement in being correct is all that's on offer.
